Blocked or unsupplied sinks force employees to skip handwashing, spreading fecal bacteria and viruses to food.

Handwashing sinks must be accessible, properly supplied, and used only for handwashing.

Each sink needs: Warm water (100°F minimum); Soap in dispensers; Paper towels or air dryers; Waste receptacles; Signage; Clear access; Used only for handwashing.

INSECTS, RODENTS, & ANIMALS NOT PRESENT - Comments: OBSERVED EVIDENCE OF PEST ACTIVITY. OBSERVED APPROXIMATELY 60-85 MICE DROPPINGS THROUGHOUT THE FACILITY. THE MICE DROPPINGS WERE OBSERVED IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS: IN THE DISHWASHING AREA WHERE THE DISHWASHING MACHINE IS STORED, UNDER THE DRAINBOARD AT THE TWO COMPARTMENT SINK IN THE FOOD PREP AREA, ON THE SHELVING UNIT WHERE CLEAN SHEET TRAYS WERE STORED, BEHIND THE COOKING EQUIPMENT UNDER THE VENTILATION HOOD, ON THE BLACK CART WHERE THE MICROWAVE IS STORED IN THE DINING AREA, AND IN THE MOP SINK STORAGE AREA ACROSS FROM THE CATERIA. INSTRUCTED TO ELIMINATE PEST ACTIVITY, CLEAN AND SANITIZE AFFECTED AREAS AND RECOMMENDED CONTACTING PEST CONTROL FOR A SERVICE. PRIORITY FOUNDATION 7-38-020(A), CITATION ISSUED
