ENGINEER STATES HE TURNED IT OFF TO REMOUNT SINK. INSTRUCTED TO INCREASE THE WATER PRESSURE AT THE 1ST SINK IN THE BOYS WASHROOM ON THE FIRST FLOOR IN THE OLD BUILDING. THE BOYS WASHROOM ON THE FIRST FLOOR BY THE KITCHEN HAS ONE SINK WITH NO HOT WATER; INSTRUCTED TO PROVIDE AND MAINTAIN. SOME TIMED FAUCETS DO NOT STAY ON THE REQUIRED MINIMUM TIME OF 15 SECONDS; INSTRUCTED TO ADJUST FAUCETS WHERE NEEDED.
Blocked or unsupplied sinks force employees to skip handwashing, spreading fecal bacteria and viruses to food.
Handwashing sinks must be accessible, properly supplied, and used only for handwashing.
Each sink needs: Warm water (100°F minimum); Soap in dispensers; Paper towels or air dryers; Waste receptacles; Signage; Clear access; Used only for handwashing.
