Inadequate lighting prevents detection of contamination and pests.

Adequate protected lighting required in all areas.

50 foot-candles at prep surfaces; 20 foot-candles at 30 inches in storage; Shielded bulbs over exposed food; Clean fixtures.

INSECTS, RODENTS, & ANIMALS NOT PRESENT - Comments: OBSERVED 1/2" GAP AT FRONT, REAR, AND IN THE HALLWAY WHERE BABY STROLLERS ARE STORED DOOR ALONG THE BOTTOM OF ALL SAID DOORS. INSTRUCTED TO RODENT PROOF ALL SAID DOORS AND MAINTAIN.

INSECTS, RODENTS, & ANIMALS NOT PRESENT - Comments: OBSERVED EVIDENCE OF APPROX. 15 MICE DROPPINGS ON WOOD LEDGES INSIDE INFANTS STORAGE CLOSET AND APPROX. 12 OR MORE LIVE ANTS WITH WINGS CRAWLING ON FLOOR BEHIND ALL REACH IN COOLERS AND FREEZER. MUST REMOVE DROPPINGS, CLEAN AND SANITIZE AREAS, AND IT'S RECOMMENDED TO HAVE PEST CONTROL TO SERVICE PREMISES ON OR AFTER 06/02/2022. (PRIORITY FOUNDATION VIOLATION 7-38-020 (A)) CITATION ISSUED.

PLUMBING INSTALLED; PROPER BACKFLOW DEVICES - Comments: OBSERVED THE FIRST HAND WASHING SINK IN THE GIRL'S WASHROOM HOT WATER FAUCET IS IN POOR REPAIR. INSTRUCTED TO HAVE SINK REPAIRED.
