OBSERVED A BARTENDER MAKE A DRINK, AND GRAB A DRINK GARNISH WITH HIS BARE HANDS AND PROCEED TO SQUEEZE THE GARNISH AND DROP THE GARNISH IN A CUSTOMERS DRINK WITHOUT WASHING HANDS AND PUTTING ON GLOVES PRIOR TO HANDLING THE DRINK GARNISH. OBSERVED A FOOD HANDLER CHOPPING READY TO EAT LETTUCE WITH ONE GLOVE ON AND THEN PROCEED TO GRAB THE READY TO EAT LETTUCE WITH BOTH HANDS (THE OTHER HAND WITHOUT A GLOVE) AND PLATE THE SALAD. INSTRUCTED TO DISCARD SAID READY TO EAT FOODS AND NEVER ALLOW BARE HAND CONTACT WITH READY TO EAT FOODS. ALL BARTENDERS AND FOOD HANDLERS SHOULD BE WASHING THEIR HANDS AND THEN PUTTING ON FOOD GRADE DISPOSABLE GLOVES TO HANDLE ALL READY TO EAT FOODS. FOOD HANDLERS DISCARDED SAID FOODS DURING THE INSPECTION. PRIORITY VIOLATION. CITATION ISSUED 7-38-010.
