ADEQUATE HANDWASHING SINKS PROPERLY SUPPLIED AND ACCESSIBLE - Comments: OBSERVED NO HANDWASHING SINK CONVENIENTLY LOCATED FOR EMPLOYEES TO USE WHEN WASHING DISHES AT THE HIGH-TEMPERATURE DISH MACHINE IN THE REAR SERVICE AREA. INSTRUCTED MANAGEMENT THAT A HANDWASHING SINK MUST BE LOCATED TO ALLOW CONVENIENT USE BY EMPLOYEES IN ALL WAREWASHING AREAS. PRIORITY FOUNDATION 7-38-030(C). MANAGEMENT CREATED A WALKWAY BY RELOCATING A DRAIN BOARD, AND THERE IS NOW A CLEAR PATH FROM THE DISH MACHINE TO THE HANDWASHING SINK/1 COMPARTMENT SINK.

Handwashing sinks must be accessible, properly supplied, and used only for handwashing.
Specific Requirements
Each sink needs: Warm water (100°F minimum); Soap in dispensers; Paper towels or air dryers; Waste receptacles; Signage; Clear access; Used only for handwashing.
