ADEQUATE HANDWASHING SINKS PROPERLY SUPPLIED AND ACCESSIBLE - Comments: Observed no handsink in lunchroom in area where food handler dispense open (hot and cold) TCS foods for students. Must install an exposed, dedicated hand sink in dispensing area. Must provide soap/paper towels, hot/cold or tempered water with minimum temperature of 100F, hand washing signage, and adequate city pressure. Priority foundation violation 7-38-030(c).

Blocked or unsupplied sinks force employees to skip handwashing, spreading fecal bacteria and viruses to food.

Handwashing sinks must be accessible, properly supplied, and used only for handwashing.

Each sink needs: Warm water (100°F minimum); Soap in dispensers; Paper towels or air dryers; Waste receptacles; Signage; Clear access; Used only for handwashing.

PROPER DATE MARKING AND DISPOSITION - Comments: Must label all TCS Foods with discard dates. Priority foundation violation 7-38-005.

Inadequate reheating fails to kill bacteria that grew during storage.

Foods must be reheated to 165°F within 2 hours.

Reheat to 165°F within 2 hours; Use proper equipment (not hot holding units); Discard if not reaching temperature in time.

PLUMBING INSTALLED; PROPER BACKFLOW DEVICES - Comments: Observed the following plumbing issues: Toilet in disrepair (doesn't work) in staff south restroom/locker room; right urinal in disrepair (does not work) in 1st floor boy restroom (next to lunchroom) and the left urinal in boys north 3rd floor restroom; left stall door in disrepair in girls 1st floor restroom next to lunchroom; and 1 compartment sink slow draining in kitchen. Must make all repairs. Must maintain all.
