ADEQUATE HANDWASHING SINKS PROPERLY SUPPLIED AND ACCESSIBLE - Comments: OBSERVED SOME FAUCETS NOT STAYING ON A MINIMUM OF 15 SECONDS IN THE STUDENT WASHROOMS AS FOLLOWS: SOUTHEAST----1ST FLOOR 1ST SINK IN BOYS (HOT WATER KNOB), CENTER AREA 1ST FLOOR MIDDLE SINK IN BOYS (HOT WATER KNOB), 1ST FLOOR GIRLS MIDDLE SINK AND NORTH EAST 1ST FLOOR BOYS 1ST SINK (HOT WATER KNOB). INSTRUCTED TO ADJUST KNOBS TO RUN FOR 15 SECONDS.

Blocked or unsupplied sinks force employees to skip handwashing, spreading fecal bacteria and viruses to food.

Handwashing sinks must be accessible, properly supplied, and used only for handwashing.

Each sink needs: Warm water (100°F minimum); Soap in dispensers; Paper towels or air dryers; Waste receptacles; Signage; Clear access; Used only for handwashing.

PHYSICAL FACILITIES INSTALLED, MAINTAINED & CLEAN - Comments: OBSERVED EXPOSED HANDSINK IN CLASSROOM 105 OBSTRUCTED WITH ITEMS; SINK MUST BE ACCESSIBLE. THIS CLASS ROOM HAS A WASHROOM WITH A SINK INSIDE OF THE WASHROOM. THE OBSTRUCTED SINK IS AT THE COUNTER OUTSIDE OF THE WASHROOM.
