ADEQUATE HANDWASHING SINKS PROPERLY SUPPLIED AND ACCESSIBLE - Comments: Observed inadequate consistent water flow at the washbowl sinks in the following restrooms: right sink in 2nd floor boys restroom, pre-k restrooms in rooms 124, 125, and 126. Must provide 15 second of consistent water flow once activated at all metered faucets. Must repair and maintain same.

Blocked or unsupplied sinks force employees to skip handwashing, spreading fecal bacteria and viruses to food.

Handwashing sinks must be accessible, properly supplied, and used only for handwashing.

Each sink needs: Warm water (100°F minimum); Soap in dispensers; Paper towels or air dryers; Waste receptacles; Signage; Clear access; Used only for handwashing.

PLUMBING INSTALLED; PROPER BACKFLOW DEVICES - Comments: Observed slow drain at teachers handsink in room 126. Observed low water pressure and leaks at faucets in girls 2nd floor restroom. Must repair and maintain all.

Backflow can contaminate entire water supply with sewage or chemicals.

Plumbing must be properly installed with backflow prevention.

Air gaps at fixtures; Backflow preventers on connections; No cross-connections; Annual testing of devices; Proper drainage.

GARBAGE & REFUSE PROPERLY DISPOSED; FACILITIES MAINTAINED - Comments: Observed outside garbage area not maintained: 1 dumpster overflowing and lid cannot be closed, other dumpster has excessive amount of garbage bags and debris piled on top of dumpster. Instructed all garbage must fit inside dumpsters, and all lids must be closed at all times. Priority foundation 7-38-020(b).

Refuse must be properly contained and removed.
