ENGINEER INSTRUCTED TO LOCK DOORS AND NOT ALLOW STUDENTS TO USE WASHROOMS UNTIL SOAP DISPENSERS HAVE BEEN INSTALLED. ENGINEER INSTALLED THE SOAP DISPENSERS DURING THE INSPECTION. OBSERVED THE FOLLOWING AREAS WITH MOUSE DROPPINGS (ALL NUMBERS ARE APPROXIMATIONS): 50 DROPPINGS ON THE FLOOR UNDER THE OLD DISHWASHING MACHINE, 10 DROPPINGS ON THE FLOOR BEHIND THE OVEN AND STOVE, 10 DROPPINGS ON THE OUTSIDE BOTTOM LEDGE OF THE HOT HOLDING UNIT, 20 DROPPINGS ON THE FLOOR BEHIND THE GREASE TRAPS OF THE 3 COMPARTMENT SINKS, 40 DROPPINGS ON THE FLOOR AT THE WALL OF THE FOOD SERVICE LINE, 100 DROPPINGS ALONG THE BOTTOM METAL EDGES OF THE STEAM TABLE AND FLOOR UNDERNEATH THE STEAM TABLE, 20 DROPPINGS ON THE FLOOR UNDER THE MILK COOLER, 20 DROPPINGS INSIDE THE FAN UNIT OF THE TROPICANA JUICE COOLER, 50 DROPPINGS ON THE FLOOR ALONG THE WALLS OF THE FACULTY LUNCH ROOM, 15 DROPPINGS ON THE FLOOR IN THE CORNER OF THE LUNCH ROOM, 50 DROPPINGS ON THE FLOOR BEHIND THE UNUSED MILK COOLER IN THE LUNCH ROOM, 50 DROPPINGS ON THE FLOOR BEHIND THE TABLE AND LADDER AGAINST THE WALL IN THE LUNCH ROOM, 10 DROPPINGS ON THE TABLE WITH THE MICROWAVE IN THE LUNCH ROOM, 50 DROPPINGS ON THE FLOOR IN ROOM 314 BEHIND THE CABINET AND IN THE SMALL REFRIGERATOR FAN UNIT, 20 DROPPINGS ON THE FLOOR IN ROOM 325 NEAR THE WOOD SHELVING UNIT, 20 DROPPINGS ON THE FLOOR OF THE BASEMENT STORAGE AND MAIN ROOMS. ALSO, APPROXIMATELY 50 LIVE ANTS WERE OBSERVED ON THE FLOOR OF THE LUNCH ROOM, MANAGEMENT INSTRUCTED TO CLEAN AND REMOVE DROPPINGS AND LIVE ANTS FROM THE AFFECTED AREAS AND CLEAN AND SANITIZE. ADDITIONAL PEST CONTROL SERVICE IS NEEDED TO MINIMIZE OR ELIMINATE THE PEST ACTIVITY. CRITICAL VIOLATION 7-38-020.
