HAND WASHING FACILITIES: WITH SOAP AND SANITARY HAND DRYING DEVICES, CONVENIENT AND ACCESSIBLE TO FOOD PREP AREA - Comments: Observed front prep hand sink and without paper towels or sanitary means to dry hands. Observed rear prep hand sink with cleaning products in basin making inaccessible, and without soap or paper towels or sanitary means to dry hands. Instructed all hand sinks must be easily accessible, with soap and sanitary means to dry hands at all times. Operator provided soap and paper towels at all sinks, and removed items from rear prep hand sink basin. Critical violation 7-38-030.
Missing supplies prevent proper handwashing, forcing inadequate cleaning that spreads pathogens.
All handwashing sinks must have soap and hand drying provisions.
Soap in dispensers at each sink; Paper towels in dispensers or air dryers; Supplies maintained during all hours; Waste receptacles if paper towels used.
